Whats the likelihood of TVNZ selling (or by some miracle give) me a copy (AVI/DVD) of a single episode of a locally produced TV show ? "What Now" in this case.

Anyone done this before ?

Really want a copy as it has our youngest speaking on it during one of their skits, and we're super proud of her as it was way way way out of her comfort zone :)

TIA

Looks like there is an established path to do this, but does look like you will pay for the privilege

https://www.tvnz.co.nz/content/tvnz/licensing/footage-licensing/footage-request-personal-use.html

Examples of personal use include:

•        a copy of a news item featuring a family member

•        a programme you missed and want to catch up on

•        footage for students to use in the classroom / university

•        a copy of an item for a company or organization's own records

Hi,

Have you tried emailing What Now / Whitebait Media?

There's a nice bunch of people there :).

When a number of my fellow costumers and I appeared, they were more than happy to send us a DVD the following week once it had been processed. May differ for kids appearances however, or everyone would do it :)

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Unfortunately cant say as it'll be in that grey zone of copyright blah blah.  All I'll say is that it was a simple idea that worked perfectly :) (Good enough for my requirements anyway)
