I thinking of buying this from the Australian e-bay. Link here

I've yet to purchase anything from e-bay, so any words of wisdom before I pull the pin?

The keyboard looks too cheap - but the Chinese seller has over 300k feedback at 98.5%, so I guess I can take some comfort from this?

Thanks in advance.

You do realise it's just the cover, not the actual MediaPad?

Yep, cover and keyboard only. The Huawei version is around $200, and fishpond have similar to the e-bay model at over $100, so the e-bay option looks very cheap by comparison.

That's a cover and keyboard offer.

I've purchased plenty from Ebay AU. Can't see an issue - however since this is a Chinese supplier I'd treat it like buying from Ali-Express...
Should be OK.

And since it is only $35 worth a punt.

Have used eBay AU for years and have always used PayPal with them. Only ever had two problems with sellers. Both from India of non delivery. eBay refunded my PayPal.

eBay Customer Support made a final decision on your case

Hi ***************,

Good news! We issued you a full refund of GBP 22.00 on Jul 03, 2016. The refund includes the purchase price plus original postage and has been credited to your PayPal account. Please log in to PayPal and view the History page if you don't see it in your PayPal balance.

Decision:
This case has been decided in your favour.

Comments:
We didn't receive valid tracking information from the seller. We're sorry you had a problem with your purchase, and we're issuing you a refund for this case.

So yes eBay is safe to use and I advise using PayPal though they do take back account and credit card.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Yeah I'd say go for it if you are paying with PayPal. Very easy to get your money back if there is a problem.

Slightly off topic but lately I've noticed AliExpress isn't always as cheap as it used to be. The last few cables, adaptors etc I've actually got from eBay - but yes they are usually just shipped from the same place anyway.
