Any one knows of any training institutions in Hamilton (prefer) who does MCSA training? It's an important course now if you want to get a good job. I want to study towards Server/Network Administrator.

Also should I study MCSA or MCITP? I know if I study MCITP, I get qualified for Windows server 2008 as well. Please Recommend?

Thanks

I haven't received any formal training as such, but one helpful resource I found were the TestOut CDs. Have a quick google and you'll find they pretty much have everything you need to study then sit your exams.

Thanks for the reply. I just got off phone speaking to Seek Learning. The CSR I spoke to was very helpful. He recommended doing MCSE (MCSA + 2 papers + 1 elective (exchange server)) Cost is NZ$5500. Total of 7 papers which I can finish in 2 years and they can grant extra time for free of charge. For the same cost, just for this month I can do 5 extra certification which include CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, bunch of CompTia certifications. I am already doing CCNA from Wintec but CCNP and CCSA would help. They provide 24 x 7 support and online material.

Should I go ahead or buying CD/books going to be a much cheaper alternative.

I have searched around google in different forums and majority who have acquired MCSE have said to do self study. They all said you can buy MCSE package off the internet which includes interactive CD's and practise exams. Cost is ~ $200 - ~ $400 VS $5500 for the online course which offer 24 x 7 live support and live practical's and a lot of online books that I can access for free. I will be saving $5000 if I do it myself. Well I am going to buy the package off the internet, at worse I will only lose $300 - $400 on the package, if it works out (I dont see why not?) then yipee....if not I can start the online tutorial thing anytime....
