when i try to download movies and music on utorrent i get this little red arrow and it wont download
so i thought it was a bad file so i went to download a diffrent file and it did the same thing
this is the first time this has ever happened and i dont know what exactly to do
so if someone could help me out and tell me what i need to do,explain it in simple terms lol im not really good with computers and this kind of stuff

If its a red arrow next to the torrent, this usually indicates a problem with the tracker (or in my experience anyway).
If its doing it with every file from different sites, then thats odd - I do know some trackers prevent use of certain versions of clients - is your UTorrent the latest "legit" build ? There are some dodgy hacked versions out there which do get banned by trackers.

well i downloaded it off the u torrent site
could it be mines out of date?
or theres an upgrade for it?

How long ago did you download it ? If you goto the Help menu, I think theres a "Check for update" option (Id check but Im at work) there or else go download it again to make sure.

It could be a private tracker. if it is you'll need to go to the site that provides the file and register with them to download the real torrent.
