Okay right,

I have Winamp (windows only), and I want to be able to control it from my laptop (because I have my stereo connected to my desktop for audio output), and I want to be able to control the volume, playlists etc from my laptop.

are there any solutions out there?

Up until recently, I've been using that, was hoping for something that actually ran native in windows instead.
