Got some pasta from Pizza Hut tonight. It looks lovely in the brochure. But wow, when it arrives...

Would you eat this?

Pasta was uncooked, or it had just gone cold. Chicken was barely cooked. Mushroom's were burnt and it just tasted discusting!

A zoom in of the actual pasta:

Would you buy/eat this?

I know right!

All I needed was my fork, my hepatitus shot and hazmat mask and then I was ready to eat!

Complimentary? Good you didn't pay for that. And fail for them to send a sample to will keep you away from their food...

I brought one of the massive trays as big as a pizza box when they first came out, and it had only six meatballs in it, I felt ripped off, all that cheap pasta, some pizza cheese and a tiny amount of cheap meet.

I wanna try the domin's pasta, they put it in a puff pastry bowl!!!

Pizza Hut should stick to Pizzas -- what they're actually good at.

I threw my free sample pasta out lol.

Trust me when i say that you do not want to try the dominos pasta bowl.  It's crap and the so called pasty bowl might be better made of cardboard because it tastes about that bad.

:P I can already cook pasta!  I'm making the recommendation NOT to eat domino's.

I can make pizza, fish and chips, pasta, burgers -- in fact all fast food. That doesn't mean I won't buy it from a fast food restaurant. What a silly comment.

My younger brother works at Pizza Hut, I could tell you some pretty bad stories about what goes on their with the food and what gets recycled. It wouldn't surprise me if that was a rejected Pasta that they re-heated and passed on to you (not to make any accusations though, purely speculation). When we got a Pizza Hut pasta a while ago they sent us the wrong one, we phone up to complain and they arranged to replace it as long as we didn't eat "more than half of it", it looked worse than yours... yum!!

I tried these when they first came out and actually thought they were pretty good.

The part that should concern you is that because they're made in Australia and shipped to NZ (in itself nuts) the contents fall under different rules - there's actually a lot of silicone in these, used to keep the cheese from sticking together.  Silicone.  It's used in tiny amounts for the pizza cheese, but in these pastas there's tons of it.

Silicone isn't food.
