The reviews i've read are pretty good, it sounds like the perfect little HD camera for my needs!

I just have one question though:

Are there any other devices in the market similar to the Flip Mino HD?


I've also seen a Flip Mino HD with an 8GB hard drive that allows for 2 hours of recording; the NZ model only has 4GB and allows for 1 hour recording. Do you think it's best to wait for the 8GB version to be released here? It sounds like we are a generation behind the US....

I agree about the 8GB model - it does sound good and apparently has HDMI out as well. Who knows if it will make it here...
