Tonight I happened to leave my car keys in the garage door.

Then we had a downpour.....

Now my remote for the uniden car alarm doesn't work.

Unfortunately this is the only working remote I have. I purchased the car second hand with the alarm already installed and there was no paper work supplied.

Reading through the manuals on the Uniden site I need to put the alarm into disarm mode. However to do this I need the original code which I don't have.

I am supposed to be going away on holiday tomorrow so I am in a bit of a predicament as you can see.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

OK remote started working again. I have left it unscrewed and open to dry out. Hopefully if I go into a uniden alarm dealer in the new year they can do a factory reset or something and give me the proper codes.
