Went to the Auckland one with my eldest son - 20th birthday pressie for him, and first concert he'd been too. Pretty awesome - was in the grassed area to the left of the end of the runway. Vocals were a little bland, but Angus' guitar was effing awesome !!! My highlight was Let There Be Rock - good 20 mins of stunning riffs.

Pity about the exorbitant beer and water costs - $8.00 for a cup of beer, and $5 for a bottle of water - and they take the caps off with their icky hands .. gotta be a H&S issue there, as well as the possibility of someone slipping in a mickey-finn if you haven't got a finger down the open top.

And they need to ban cigarettes down in the crowd - just too crowded and risk getting a glowing end in the eye or burnt clothes. And I'm a smoker myself !! Just didn't want to light up - just rock on !

It was fantastic! I went with my 12 yr old Brother and my best friend, we were about two rows back from the very front of the stage! I got some super amazing photo's of the Gang! As soon as we got there we got water and i chucked it in my bag.. along with some other kinds of drink ;). Yeeah it was weird! i got absolutely soaked in the mosh, covered in beer,water and sweat that most of which wasn't my own... haha!

YES! everyone around us were smoking.. and i'm not talking cigarettes here...
ANGUS WAS FANTASTIC x10000000! On all of there tours people have complained that the vocals were average, but i think thats just Brian getting old! he's 62! which is amazing!

Went to the Auckland as well, halfway down the runway just to the left.
What an awesome show.

i agree with SepticSceptic on the vocals, almost to soft to be heard. was a bit disappointed with the bars to. i wanted to buy two bourbons but you cant do that.

Very easy to get in, the que moved very fast and found it very easy to leave the venue. well organised event.

Really wish I went.

Mate of mine went to the Welly gig with his family and managed to meet the band outside their hotel and get some stuff signed.
Lucky bugger, should have given him my Gibson SG to get Angus to sign!

I went to the Auckland show, I was in the GA/field area on the right side not too far back from the stage.

Their performance was epic, played all their hits and the sound quality was really good where I was standing.

The crowd was well behaved and there was an interesting mix of people there unlike your normal rock concert.

I wish I was a foot taller as there were many tall bastards in the crowd but that's life!

I went to the thursday wellington show. Put simply it was awesome. That pretty much sums it up nicely :D I have a few vids on youtube also http://www.youtube.com/user/Shockla . I have one of Angus' guitar solo but it is too long since youtube limited length.

I went to Thursday Wellington show. I am not the huge AC/DC fan, but I know the songs (pretty hard not to really). I hadn't planned to go, but got given a free ticket an hour before it started.

For what it was, it was fun. I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't have paid for it.

Angus' solo was rediculusly long and fairly unmusical. Just a man w@nking on his guitar. Ozzy's guitarist did the same thing at the Rock 2 Wellington gig a few years ago, and it was utter rubbish there too. Not sure how long it was, but it felt like almost 10 mins and didn't do anything but break the flow.

Stage was really good. Whole lot of Rosie set was probably the highlight. The cannons were impressive the first time they fired. Firing them 100 times doesn't make them more impressive though.

Crowd was really into it, friendly and relaxed. Normal stadium complains stand (expenisve and rubbish beer, god awful and expensive food, long lines etc).

All in all, an enjoyable night.

This is basically an intermission very common in a lot of shows the whole point of the 10min guitar solo in the middle of any two hour show is to give the singer and drummer a brief rest.

True. Personally I prefer it when they just pop off for ten mins.

Went to the Auckland show. Was on the right hand ride on the edge of the mosh pit, pretty much 20-30m back from the big screen.

Awesome. Wish i had taken a mini video camera. I hope they release a tour dvd.
