RustyGonad: Another massive blow from the record companies after they managed to shut down the Pirate Bay...
They really seem to be winning the war :)

PirateBay is still alive and kicking and still has the world biggest trackers.
Common sense is not as common as you think.

No really???
I just had a look at the new Pirate Bay, its still there, but its substantially different from the old one.
The old one looked like this:
www.thepiratebay.org
It allowed you to search extensively for torrent content.
The new one www.thepiratebay.org really is quite different in that the torrents are hidden from view until you press the enter key when you do a search. With the old site, you still had to press enter, but in a much more pirate friendly kind of way. This is due to the court removal order. Thats cause the record companies won, and made them take it down.
And the new site (limited functionality site - due to the court order) also has a HD indexed section - this makes its much much easier for the content companies to see what everyone is downloading, and whether or not they prefer it in HD or not.
Either that or I've just been taking the p i s s all along, I still can't quite figure it out...
