Generation Kill should be there - but other then that I'd vote for the Pacific - A very good mini-series (not as good as Band of Brothers though) ;)

Why would they give an award to a show that is no longer running? Albeit it was in the cycle, it makes complete sense to award shows that will attract viewers again... Not assuming anything, of course ;)

GK came out years ago, TVNZ only just got around to playing it.  You're right about The Pacific though! Good to see Breaking Bad and Mad Men did so well

Where was the love for my two favourite shows! being Dexter and Entourage..  Micheal C Hall should have taken out best actor and Jermey Piven for best supporting actor in a comedy series. Well in my opinion anyway.

Seriously, how can you turn the man down!!  NSFW!!

It was adapted for television by David Simon, Ed Burns and Wright. The series premiered on July 13, 2008

It's 2 years old..? Well that's abit of a let down TVNZ for stating that it is the 'brand new' award winning mini-series
