Hey,

Do you think I could go into any major stores and get a price match? Reason being I got a rain check from the warehouse for a cellphone, W508 for $178.

Because I know NL only price match if the item is in stock, so im guessing that would be a miss, does anyone know about DSE or Harvey Norman, Smiths City?

Has anyone tried getting a price match with a rain check?

Let me know :)

It is against everyones price match policy.
You can try if you like, some will do it if you can provide the advert, but some will go as far as checking if the other retailer has it in stock before honouring it.

If it's a loss leader, I doubt it.
Unless of course you strike a business that wants to give you money for the pleasure of buying from them?
However, if you're looking to buy a few other bits and pieces that would make it profitable to the store, you may be able to strike a deal.

Well the warehouse have it on special for $178 and I thought that stores price match cheaper prices (Unsure if specials are included).

Then all stores ask for a price card or something to prove the price, thats why I thought I could use the raincheck to prove that??

No need to be sarcastic. Was asking a genuine question.
