    What do you mean by Taupo Volcano? I assume you mean Lake Taupo??
    There are more active volcanoes in that area, which are more likely to go first. Secondly, the quakes were not centered in the lake, so again not likely to be the dormant volcano. Thirdly there have been no reports of lake levels changing, or lake temperatures.

    So no, there are no eruptions coming from Lake Taupo, like the 181 eruption. But, if you are scared, feel free to move to Australia, pretty inactive as far as earthquakes and volcanos go. But you may die from snakes or spiders or a tasmanian devil!

    They are currently scanning the bottom of lake Rotomahana for the pink & white terraces. Maybe they woke a Taniwha.

    As notorious monsters i would be careful attributing earthquakes caused by thier might to volcanos. They may get angry and eat you.

    No doubt a couple of $$mil would soon calm them  down for a year or two..
