Just wondering if anybody is having the same issue as me.

When on trademe and browsing the ads and you press the back button does it always go back to the top of the page

yep this happened for me when I used to use Firefox... but I now use IE7

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I had the same problems before i switched to IE7, it only did it on vers 1.5 and above

I'm using Firfefox 1.5.0.3 has no problem.

Its amazing how such a little thing can be a real nuisance.

I believe it could be something to do with caching, its not going back to the saved page but reloading the page, a problem only on sites built on a database.

Dont take that to be gospel, its just the answer i got when having that problem

1.5.0.3 works fine for me on Trademe. At the moment. Although I'm sure I have seen the problem on Trademe pages more than others.  I think eBay is consistantly okay though. Seems there's no hard and fast rule with it. Perhaps an Extension is playing around with the caching?
