Anyone getting spam from margarita's club/bar?

I seem to be always getting spam from them for promotional stuff, I don't even like clubs.

I've tried opted out many times but just does nothing,

They send text with lots of different numbers (021, 027, 022's), and when you try calling them no one ever picks up.

I've called up the bar, and I've been in to talk to a manager and they say OK, we'll get that sorted for you and they all SAY they'll remove me from the txting database, but this never happens.

I've tried to find the director of this club/bar, and on the website it says the registered name is Margarita's Ltd, which isn't even a registered company in NZ, the closes one is "MARGARITA'S BAR & RESTAURANT LIMITED" which went into liquidation in 2003, I called the domain admin (which I dug up from a who is website) and he said he hasn't been involved since like 10 years ago... and he said the original Director is no longer the director of that place either.

I've tried calling Vodafone but it always seems to be busy I wait like 20mins on the phone and get sick of waiting and hangup.

What can I do?

Should I just suck it up and wait on the phone with Vodafone until someone picks up?

Report them to internal affairs. Believe it or not they do actually follow spam complaints up.

I reported a real estate agent who I repeatedly asked to stop emailing me and they actually did follow it up and came back to me. It wasn't particularly fast but still it's better than nothing.

I am only guessing this all...

Lets see.. the website .. Copyright ? 2003, Margaritas Ltd. All rights reserved.

Margaritas Ltd is now known as PERFORMANCE OHAKUNE LIMITED

owned by

David Allen MCCABE
15 Tyne Street, Ohakune, Ohakune, 4625 , New Zealand

who is related some how to the owner of

MARGARITA'S BAR & RESTAURANT LIMITED

Pamela June MCCABE
10 Constitution Hill, Auckland Central, 1010 , New Zealand

which was struck off ages ago

the whois says its owned by IBA which is IBA Limited known now as

SHOWCASE HOSPITALITY LIMITED

owner of:

Richard MCCABE
239 Matua Road, Rd 1, Kumeu, 0891 , New Zealand

Richard McCabe was said to own the bar in 2009

Their facebook page just recently says

"Margarita's A lot of people celebrate birthday's at Margarita's - if you would like to have a party and hire a floor of Margarita's you should email hq@margaritas.co.nz or send a facebook message to Megan McCabe *** depending on the situation we might offer a FREE ROOM HIRE FOR BIRTHDAYS at Margaritas Bar Auckland"

So Megan McCabe must be related some how
