Many of you know that just recently I was in Las Vegas attendng the HP Discover 2011 as part of a group of bloggers invited to cover the event. During the conference we had a competition and some bloggers won the rights to giveaway awesome prizes. 

We secured a HP Proliant Microserver to giveaway to one of our readers. This incredibly small server can be used at home or office, and is compatible with Windows and Linux - operating system is not included so you can install whatever is more suited to your needs. Detailed HP Proliant Microserver specs.    

Now, it's not a requirement, but I'd like you to show your appreciation to HP for this opportunity by visiting the Discovering HP meta blog website I put together linking to all other bloggers and blog posts I could find from our group attending the conference. How to enter the competition (make sure you read it):

1. Reply to this thread with what you have now and why you think this HP Microserver will benefit your office, or your home setup.;

2. You get an extra entry if your entry has a picture of your existing rig. Remember to upload the picture to Geekzone, then use the Compose Reply button to post your reply with the picture. Do not post in a separate entry. Also you can only edit your post in the first 15 minutes, so have the picture ready before posting.

3. If you are on Twitter and want additional entries then use the retweet button below to post to Twitter about this competition. You can send this out once a day and will get one extra entry per day. Note the strict only one entry per day rule. No Twitter spam. Also you only get additional entries on Twitter if you replied to this thread first.

This competition is open until the 6th July, when a single entry will be drawn. Open to New Zealand, Australian, United States and Canadian residents only. No purchase necessary. Previously banned users are not eligible to win. Only one reply in this topic. Multiple entries in this topic will invalidate all your entries. The prize will be sent from the United States. If the winner is a United States resident a W9 form is required before prize can be sent. If you can't see a Twitter button please enable it in your Geekzone user profile or make sure you are not running an ad blocker.
