Pretty sure its real, though, not sure if that video of the incident is real ("GlobalPost does not know if the material used in this video is from the original"). "China's roads are among the world's most dangerous, with traffic laws and safety widely flouted, as almost 70,000 people died in road accidents in 2009, or around 190 fatalities a day, according to police statistics."

As a dad of three young girls I just can't bring myself to watch the video. Have read the various stories about it.
Terrible, appalling, sad.

Cheers,
Joseph.

i broke into tears after watching the video... a helpless 2 year old girl, crying in pain and you can clearly see she was moving her hands... how can you ignore that? CryCryCry

Makes me sick to my stomach that the people in the video do nothing, all just look at her and walk past. Makes me glad to live in a society where I doubt 18 people would walk past if my daughter was lying on the road like that.

Hope she pulls through in the end.

yeah its pretty brutal. I needed to see it to see it was in any way avoidable or any accident. Its sickening, and all those people involved would have known something was up.

But dont put this just on the Chinese, this is fast becoming the norm, being unconcerned with the welfare of others...

Absolutely heart breaking.

I think it's the mentality Chinese people grow up in.
With a population of 1.3 billion and tough times for the last few decades, it is basically 'everyone for themselves'.

Get well soon, little girl.
