Okay first off I must say, it's been rather a long time since I've posted on here. I hope that everyone had a good Christmas, of course not forgetting about the 6.0 magnitude quake we received on the 23rd of this month. Very unfortunate & twas rather close to home!

Moving on...

I'm gathering that this will no doubt be pinned to that stereotypical thread up top ^^^ where all the cool people hang out but I always enjoyed posting a new topic on this site. So deal with it.

Now, lets cut to the cheese

Can anyone try & explain this or share any light on the matter as to why or how these clouds could of "naturally" formed? I'm sceptical about this at the moment & still sitting on the fence.

On to a different subject, chemtrails (Also known as geo-engineering) Anyone care to explain this??

Oh & theres this one too, the old "It's just a contrail you silly twat!" Well actually no... Contrails are saturated ice vapour & are a known phenomenon. This however is not a contrail - you cannot simply turn off a contrail... (Unless of course you rapidly decrease in altitude!)

This video is just cool. People holidaying snapped this.

Enjoy!

P.S - I chose the thumb for the avatar of this thread because like most of you out there, I choose to live ;-)

cgrew: This however is not a contrail - you cannot simply turn off a contrail... (Unless of course you rapidly decrease in altitude!)

Contrail is short for "condensation trail". The something which condenses - is water.

The concentration of water content varies from place to place depending on humidity / temperature / pressure / etc.

It is likely the plane was passing through an area of water vapor concentration, then entered an area with less water vapor concentration for trail formation.

Edit: If the dudes with the camera had been able to see behind their own plane - my guess is they would have seen the same phenomena occurring at exactly the same time.

!! You really should be posting this in the conspiracy thread which users can read and subscribe to if interested. There was a proliferation of conspiracy threads here for a while with no end in sight - and that is why it was created.

Haha really Mr GZT? You make it sound so simple don't you? Don't think that Climatologists have equipment that can easily monitor when the air is dense & when it's not. Geoengineering is actually happening, just like Global Warming remember? Remember what the good old Media told us back in 2004/2005 & onwards? Don't tell me you forget about that... We all know that Global Warming isn't real... or is it?? It still remains unanswered my friend.

Explain this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoengineering%20

I believe you will find that Geoengineers are spraying chemicals in to the Stratosphere & there is evidence they're doing this. One that we all here can find in NZ. Especially in the South Island.

Regarding the 1st video.. I've personally seen clouds like that form and then disappear. Maybe 15+ years ago.

I don't know what caused them (maybe a layer of hot/cold air separating the cloud and non-cloud areas)
But there was no planes around.

The second video.. The people in the 2nd plan (who are taking the video) are quite close (in relative terms) to the plane they are taking the video of. I think it would have been quite easy to just go around the side of it and actually identify the plane. Also planes don't usually fly around the place without records and I would have thought it would be quite easy at the time to work out what plane it was exactly and to check it out.

The third video.. I've seen vapor trails start/stop out of the back of planes a number of times. It depends I presume what they are going through.

Fourth Video.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funnel_cloud

From Wikipedia's article on HAARP:

"The intensity of the HF signal in the ionosphere is less than 3 µW/cm², tens of thousands of times less than the Sun's natural electromagnetic radiation reaching the earth and hundreds of times less than even the normal random variations in intensity of the Sun's natural ultraviolet (UV) energy which creates the ionosphere."

HF radio signals (2 - 30MHz) have no effect on water vapor - HAARP operates between 2 and 10MHz - when it's being used.

HAARP has nothing on the amount of RF energy the commercial broadcasters output 24/7! Most of which shoots off to the horizon and off into space.

Looking at it another way, the effects of water vapor on RF only start to become apparent in the microwave range above 3GHz. Most microwave stuff is in the milliwatt levels, and when used commercially is point to point like a focused torch beam, and only a problem when that water vapor turns to rain and falls to earth, well below any weather systems.

As for HAARP it self, if it was capable of modifying the weather, causing earthquakes, taking down powergrids and what ever else the tinfoilhat brigade Tongue Out cares to blame it for, it would be pretty top secret and well guarded, probably hidden away in places like Area 51 or elsewhere less known..

Not a place that has a fairly informative website, where universities can do research, has an open day once a year where the public can go along and take a look around, and where you can drive right past, take photos with nothing more than a fence around it as my wife did a couple years ago on a trip from Fairbanks to Valdez:

Okay well these planes are dedicated to something? There is absolutely no way they would fly this close to a commercial aeroplane if in fact they were even a commercial aeroplane to begin with. It would be breaking flight regulations to be flying this close, considering that an Airbus carries hundreds of people.

arrgh. lol. yes, isobaric weather maps, radar, and many other forecasting tools in daily use for the last 50 years or so.

The problem with new conspiracy threads is that they all end up going through the same motions as previous conspiracy threads with never an end in sight.

Geekzone convention requires that conspiracy stuff is posted to the conspiracy thread, just like movies you have seen recently are posted to the movies thread. There is little point having several active conspiracy threads running at the same time. Just like there is little point having many movie threads. It would get to the point where they just overwhelm the first page of the OT board.

Yes well... (Thanks for the major stereotype btw) - Haven't heard that one in awhile ;-)

I think you only have to look at the events post WW2 to understand how the world reacted to Atomic Weaponry. One would say that they were pretty flippin scary times brother!

Everything was nuclear weapons this & nuclear weapons that (Russia & America, we are pointing at you) The world was terrified about the idea of nuclear weapons once they had seen how truely powerful they really were - x2

America stepped in and said 'we will handle what countries possess nuclear weapons' and pretty much from then you've had the UN form not long after because 'we can't have another terrible event like that again' scenario.

I would say that I'm rather sceptical about HAARP because it was the continuation of advanced prototype counter weaponary after the Manhatten Project that concerns me. Especially because the founding father who thought it up could understand and theorise that you could rapidly modify weather systems from electron charge and worst of all - Directed-Energy Weapon the theory on firing charged particle beams in to the Ionsphere.

This guy - Nikola Tesla

And just to conveniently add, He had a very controversial death...

Why not?? It's good publicity for geekzone? Not to mention a good debate. For some it can be a never ending mind-numbing paradox but that's only because they choose to.

{MOD EDIT : SP :  Personal attack removed. This thread is skating on VERY thin ice, I suggest you play the ball not the player.}
