My partner bought me a Samsung Blu-ray player for Xmas, but before Xmas itself, we did the online form on Samsungs site to choose 3 Blu-ray from a choice of 15.  We cut out the barcode and did the other required things and sent them away. Got an email back which said it can take up to 60 days.  60 days has been and gone and still no Blu-rays.  Has anyone done the Blu-ray redemption and received their movies?

Don't know about the Samsung Blu-Ray offer, but the Panasonic Blu-Ray offer turn around was fast - only a week and I had the vouchers in hand.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I have contacted them by email, but no response.

I had a problem with HP and their redemptions, where they took months, and far longer then they said they would. I think they should crack down on these schemes. It shouldn't take any longer than 7 days to turn them around, and other schemes I have used will do this. 60days is too long in my opinion. Hope they will throw in another dvd for you, for not sticking to their end of the contract.
PS. Contact the retailer to deal with it, they are reponsible for following it up, as they sold you the good and redemption deal in the first place. That what I had to do with HP, as they ignored my emails.

The couple of times Ive contacted Samsung via their website forms, Ive had responses within hours.
Was it an email or a form you filled out to contact them ? If email, try the form on their site.

They could be using a third party to process them, like HP did, and all emails had to go to that third party. HP were using some company in Australia, which is where the communications problems came. If they say 60 days, then it could be they are sending them offshore to be processed.

I had a Samsung blu ray player come free with a TV, via a mail in rebate. It took months, from memory, but it did turn up eventually.

Update:

After contacting Samsung through the form yesterday, I get an email saying my Blu-rays are being sent today.

Thanks Samsung and associated partners :)
