Hey Everyone,

Just wondering, all we really know about each other here is the geekiness of us all, but what's underneath that geeky outer shell? Well lets just keep it simple shall we?

What's you all-time favourite pastime?

What Job you in at the moment?

and the cheesiest question of them all, What would your dream job be?

Hmmm. You should answer those in your first post!

I like movies. Action, some comedy, but I have no problem going to a girlie movie with my wife. But not frequently! I also walk every day with my baby girl, Isabella, to the shopping centre, where I work from my tablet PC while she sleeps (between feeds!).

I am currently the Geekzone owner/Administrator. This is my full-time job. I left a 16 year old job with a large American corporation to run this site and a consulting business (www.sohosolutions.co.nz). I used to hold a title like "Integration Architect" back then and worked in the telecommunications practice.

This is my dream job.

I like to modify "standard" and make them more useful to ME, some people just don't get that part

Oh I once had the perfect answer to this (it was on a TV Ad a few weeks ago if anyone remembers do tell me [please]) I am a McDonald's Crew member/person <- GREAT JOB! Cool

Oh um, hmm, I would actually rather like being a network technician or network install type guy.. It's just fun... that or a pro product modifying guy. Sealed

Well this is a toughie, but I think I would have to say driving. I really enjoy it. Don't have a car anymore tho as it is too much hassel/unnecessary when you live in the Wellington CBD. I also like movies (Action, Comedy, Drama - that order) and just general socialising.

What Job you in at the moment?
Full time BCA INFO/ELCM student at VUW
Part Time CS at a well known online auction website
Part Time running my own IS company, iTech Systems Ltd.

and the cheesiest question of them all, What would your dream job be?
I have to say I am really quite happy with my job(s) at the moment, I really enjoy working for the cool place I do as well as managing my own business as well. Means I am rarely bored.

1. Slaughtering all that oppose me, standing upon the broken bodies of my enemy, mass slaughter of my own men.... all in starcraft
2. The wrong one. :P Lies, no I work on the Xtra helpdesk ensuring that customers are able to connect and enjoy the internet.
3. The right one.... which truly puts my skills to use. Not sure what that job is at the moment

Favourite past-time:

Watching movies. Walking my puppy along the riverbank here in the Hutt. Generally just sitting back, and watching the world continue on around me. Fiddling with technology - cellphones and computers mostly. Playing video games.

Current job: Working for Interislander on the Arahura. (Starting work @ 1am isn't that great.)
Also do some work for the Police on the sideline.

Dream job: Police Officer. Actively working towards this, but I need to put on a bit of weight (hard at the moment, I can eat anything and not put on any :/) Plan to apply in mid/late 2007.

Still unsure if that's sarcasm or not... I mean I have a toshiba laptop, doesn't mean I can't hate it with a passion... I mean any old car can get you around, but if you own a honda civic you just can't feel satisfied when a dodge viper drives by.
