I live in the Bay of Islands near Russell, and Kerikeri has the best supermarket for miles around so we go there quite often.  What do you want to know?

Been there too on a mini break to the Bay of Islands. Was before they built the Heritage By-Pass. The place has good oranges, mandarins and watermelons when in season.

Stone Store actually, then Kemp House next door, each of which have their own interesting stories to tell.

Then there's Rewa's Village just across the foot bridge, and the remains of the old Hydro Power Station about 20 minutes walk alongside the river.  It's a shame the steam boat excursions are no longer running on the river, but they may return one day.

Kerikeri has a pretty good selection of shops for a small town, and Waipapa is just a few km away with several streets of "large format" stores like Dick Smith, Noel Leeming, The Warehouse, Carters and Farmlands.

Anything not found in Kerikeri or Waipapa, you need to go to Whangarei, and if you can't find it there, Auckland is the ticket.

Went up to a wedding in Kerikeri end of last year.  Great little town, accommodation we stayed at was fantastic.

I live in Whangarei but go up there quite often for work.
It's a great little town.

Was in the Bay just before Christmas and spent a day in Kerikeri. First time there.
