Do any of you still make many purchases with a real store?

I find that the stores here are a lot slower to deal with.  They can also be a lot more expensive.  Unless you go to the few that specialises online, you really don't know what is really in stock and if you email them they can take a full 24 or 48hr to reply to you.  One shop I had locally, I still shoot some film for my hobby photography.  They took 10 days to ring me and then said they couldn't go thru with an earlier agreement and nothing has been ordered.  The ones overseas are just so quick.  You can make an order, if it's not in stock they tell you when it will be or you can be notified by email.  Make the purchase and it arrives within a week.

I love doing research and compare prices online. However, I would still prefer to buy in-store than online, unless the price difference is significant enough.

Nothing beats picking it up straight away vs having to wait and wait.

Depends on products. Face to face dealing is always better.

Depends on price, and if I want to wait or not.
And then there are products that are only available online ..
