quickymart: Conklin?

in the case i mentioned, connection goes direct to the exchange.

it should, and is meant to go to a cabinet which is not a conklin (by model number atlest...) but has a "heavily" congested backhaul to the exchange.

RBI upgrade is happening, and then the connection will migrate back.

numbers i referenced were rounded sync rates.

As per previous posts has your RSP logged a Congestion/Slow Throughput fault to Chorus?  Even though it will come back as no fault, these are collated and may help inform future investment decisions.

I've had a look around and cannot find any for Outram exchange.  Log a fault and PM me your line number and address.

Good ol' VF Blackhawk flew him in his own exchange and bridged a distribution fibre through it Tim?

So he happened to be lucky to have a cabinet put in near him as there would have been a number of others around living near him that were upgraded under the rbi cabinetisation. Good luck more than anything else.

TimA: http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/10460390/National-lines-up-35-more-towns-for-UFB
I wonder..

Labour opposing for oppositions sake there -
Labour communications spokeswoman Clare Curran dismissed the plan as "blatant broadband pork barrelling".

"Instead of addressing the real issues of the woeful inefficiency of Chorus in rolling out ultrafast broadband and its desperate attempts to keep copper prices high along with the low uptake of UFB by households, National has merrily announced it will broaden its scheme to parts of New Zealand where it wants and needs more votes," she said.

I don't dismiss it as pork-barreling - it looks like something that can happen, and the money is already there.

Besides, I think Chorus (and the rest of the LFCs) are doing a pretty good job of a massive rollout.

Pity Outram wasn't on the list, guess not big enough.

Outram is getting cabinets and a number of ISAMs to do VDSL2, there are plenty of bigger towns ahead of it for UFB.
