Hi

I'm getting VDSL installed in the next few days. My ISP is providing the Technicolor TG589VN. I'm not sure if this will work well with an AirPort Extreme (currently used with a Draytek Vigor 120 using the PPPoE/PPPoA bridge).

I understand that VDSL is PPPoE so no bridge required, but has anyone used the Technicolor with an AirPort Extreme?

Also, what VDSL modems are people using and recommending? I see the ZyXEL P870H-51a v2 mentioned, is this still the way to go?

Cheers

JonoNZ: As a side question, any wiring experts in Auckland (North Shore) who can tidy up my phone wiring coming into my house?

It's not in terrible shape, but I'd like it in top shape. :) Master filter already installed a few years back.

Sure thing, flick me an email or PM
cheers

I'd attempt bridging what they give you before buying something new.
