Have a look on 64 Surrey Cres, Greylynn on the Chorus Sat.  There's 3 properties there right in the middle of a UFB zone which cant get UFB, I assume thats because they are apartment blocks with copper installed, once block is brand new just finished around 8 weeks ago, the other two are still in construction.  A customer of mine has just moved into one of the new apartments and the only option is ADSL/VDSL, why didn't the developers start with fibre right from the beginning?

For some reason the map shapefile carves out the property under discussion (falsley giving some folks the impression that UFB is not available).  Will get the "coulouring-in team" to get the crayons out and fix it.  UFB will definitely be available at this address

The developer has chosen to reticulate the development with copper.  This option would not be available in a "greenfields" subdivision as has been pointed out by some posters, but as there is already copper in the ground outside the building, and there is a VDSL capable cabinet serving this property - this is a pragmatic choice for the developer to make in this instance.

An order requesting UFB service, from an RSP, for a resident in the building would kick-off the Chorus MDU build process, just as in any other central city apartment building.
