Just a further warning for people as I see other people posting their bad experiences with woosh
I took a 2 year contract,after 22months of it,all paid and up to date I never noticed I hadn't received an account from them,so what did they do,they didn't phone or send a reminder,nope,after 14 days past due they cut off all my services.Being as im a retail store this was serious!!.When I rang up about it,I got a foreign person who just was plain dogmatic and kept pointing out their terms and conditions,no benefit of the doubt here.
So I paid and  get reconnected but decided to leave woosh at the end of the 24 months due to their punitive and bombastic staff.Once they knew I was leaving the WARNING emails started coming,remember im 23 months paid and up to date with them
heres part of their threats

B) As per our Terms and Conditions clause 3 you are also required to return all equipment within 14 days after the date of cancellation. We will charge you the full replacement cost of equipment and a further Delinquent Equipment Fee should you fail to comply with this requirement. We need you to return the following Woosh owned equipment back to us

IMPORTANT: Failure to pay the amount due and return the equipment may result in your account being referred to a debt collection agency without further notice to you. This will adversely affect your credit rating and could incur further collection costs

And heres a nice personal touch from one of the staffers,just to keep me in line...
Hello If you read our email notice fully from the top or bottom, And I will quote the wording again like last email. And I will highlight the important part for you in red. In Person at Woosh Office Pay in one of our offices that located at:

     

  1. 11-15 Railway Street, Newmarket, Auckland
  2. 58 Tay Street, Invercargill

As far as im concerned treating customers like this BEFORE they actually do anything is unpleasant ,note the bit about returning the modem,full replacement cost and a fine!!! seriously?
The service was average,voip phone was poor quality.
But the worst was the customer service,assuming im going to not return their gear and getting the warnings in first,woosh isn't for me
