Hi all,

I've been trying to figure out how to get broadband in a difficult to access rural area. The place is in Waikere inlet, it has no road, and is only reachable by boat. It does not have a postal address.

I've spoken to Spark and Vodafone, they both provide wireless broadband, at an acceptable price (120GB for $100 per month). However without an address they can not provide a service.

There is 3G reception at the place and people there are using mobile data (via Spark). However it's quite expensive. Hence a search for a cheaper option.

Can somebody recommend what can be done in this situation?

There are also other RBI providers that may be able to help. I have done a few installs for http://www.ultimatebroadband.co.nz/rbi-wireless.html and I'm sure we could sort something out for you.

Cheers
