So after nearly 10 months (9 of waiting for Chorus to do a prelim design) we have landlords gagging for UFB in my complex.

It seems pretty simple to me, the fibre pit is in the copper pit, and the copper to complex Conduit runs through the side of the garaging, Id imagine they will just pull fibre through that, then run a conduit along the top of the wall and MTU for each building.

Now, my copper lines are all in the walls, can the pull through fibre to the same places as my current telephone jacks?

Secondly, what plan do I REALLY need to be up with the 1st world internet?

Im on BigPipe and 100/20 is cheaper than the open Vdsl plan by $10 a month, go figure.

I only have a 1080p big screen but am considering a 4k soon, about to by a retina iPad for chillaxing/bedtime movies.

What bandwidth do I need for 4k? Is there anything else I should consider outside 4k, I dont have any major downloads? Netflix says 25Mbps for 4k minimum. So 100 should be safe right?

Is Netflix/Prime increasing its 4k content?

100/20 is plenty, gigabit is only worth it if you are a really heavy user(or want your 50GB game in 10 minutes and not 1hr40..).
