Been years since I switched ISPs. Is the guide on the BigPipe forum still relevant?

My net seems to be getting worse and worse on 2D ever since the Orcon acquisition and I'm ready to move asap. Can't really see anything about a 30 day notice in the T&Cs and am not locked into a contract atm.

Process: Book date with ISP first > Call current ISP and tell them I want to transfer ISP's on x date so they don't accidentally cut my line off?
