http://www.fyx.co.nz/what-is-fyx.html

I am very attracted to the fact that FYX has this global internet thing, which I assume means that I will no longer see the dreaded " this material has licensing restrictions and is not available in your country".

(Do correct me if I am wrong. If I am wrong, I have plenty of other personal choices)

However the Fyx plan requires a phone line , it is not a naked broadband sort of thing. And as stated in the title, I never use the phone. I use skype. Even for calls to other phones.

Are there any phone lines which are good for people who may make one or two calls a month and not have to pay lots for nothing?

Thanks in advance. And I apologize in advance for my inept knowledge in the whole internet thing.

Fyx doesn't offer the "world mode" thing anymore.
