Little bit unhappy at Compass at the moment, after verifying with them several times that my connection from them was supposed to go live today I'm still sitting here looking at the DSL light blinking and not syncing.

I made considerable effort to ensue that they were sure that it was going to be live at 5pm today and after waiting for a callback being told that it was now going to be Monday I was a little miffed to say the least.

I wouldn't have minded too much if they had initially stated Monday, but I've got a bunch of work to get done this weekend that I agreed to do because I thought I would have internet and now I'm going to have to use a chunk of expensive 3g to get it done.

Not a good start guys.

Dont hold your breath, took them three weeks to get mine connected, they could not find my house ( even though the house has been here since 1966 and I have had ADSL since 2005 )
They then wanted to charge me another $150 to install another line that was not needed ( they were churning from Xnet )
Keep on them.
Chorus work over the weekend so you might be lucky.
I have had customers DSL connections go live at 8pm before.

I know enough to be dangerous
