Ok so looks like unfortunately I will be moving from Hamilton to Pirongia due  to my partners work requirements..

I have seen many a thread in regard to Pirongia's net issues but when I check the chorus map it shows as VDSL
can anyone from chrous comfirm?

The views expressed by me are not necessarily those of my employer

It would depend on where you move to in the area and how far you are from the serving hardware and if the Chorus map advises the area has VDSL then it must

It looks like Pirongia town has coverage from a DSL PoV, however if you are out of the township or the DSL sucks you could try lightwire.  My parents have a rural property near there that gets a little over 20Mbps via lightwire.

Also, hyperman are you related to Powareverb?
