I just had to resync the router about 8 times before I got any more then 120-130 k upstream. No matter what I did to the slider in the dmt tool, or if I power cycled it, I was getting useless upstream.

In dmt it shows the connection as RE ADSL2 rather then the ADSL2+ interlaced path it normally says to the right of the little globe icon.
Now, getting the extended range version would be fine if I needed it, but apparantly it still supports 800k upstream.

I know that telecom can apply profiles to a line, is there one that will lock out the RE modes so that I dont have to worry about this?

Looks like there has being another profile change when the interleaving was removed and I am now getting good adsl2+ fastpath syncs, 12ms pings to my mailserver and really no difference at all to voice quality which I was hoping would get better with lower latency.
