Hi all,

Looks like we are moving to Morrinsville in the new year.   Had a look at the Chorus maps but there is only ADSL and VDSL  showing where we are going to live.  Did a bit of research but can only find  news items back in  2014 that mentions fiber   it but no timeline.

Anyone  who may live there have any info??

Thanx in advance..

Regards,

It's not scheduled.

It's been mentioned as a possible town to get it in the second tranche of UFB roll outs under the UFB Extension program, which is basically some contestable money the government said it would stump up, that the larger towns that didn't originally get UFB can fight over to possibly get UFB.

Thanx for that.  I had a feeling that would be the case.  Well VDSL will be fine in the meantime..
