I'm sitting at my brothers new rental waiting for chorus, who said 11am, to come out for a new ont power pack that the last tenants took. Any reason they can't just send it out? He's waited 2 weeks for them to come out, and did ask if he could pick up or get it sent out. Seems a little pedantic

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

There are two ways your ISP could book that Chorus call out for you. One takes two weeks, one takes a day. It seems in this case the former was chosen.

But yeah it woukd be easier if they sell these power supplies in shops or something.

Order one of these, it's a battery backup for the ONT and router, it includes a power supply, battery, and small box to control it.
