I've not noticed a Forum for "Unlimited Internet" provider so I'll post this here.

I've been looking at changing provider for the cheaper deal & they seem to be the cheapest on the market with unlimited data. I'd save $20 a month keeping the same conditions as I have now with 2Degrees which is Fibre 100/20 & phone with 130 gig per month currently. 130gig was from speed upgrades with Snap at the time that's why the traffic is not the norm. $95.95 per month. Or I could upgrade my speed for the same price I'm paying now. No contract also which can be a good thing.

Is anyone with them & how do you find it etc?

Try using the search button to search for info and look at a few of the recent threads. There should be some there with recent feedback from users that may help.

Yet as a customer, I have had rock solid service. Their pricing dropped recently, so I have just upgraded to 100/20 for $70 per mth.

I called them to do this and my call was answered promptly and efficiently.

I have no reason to fault them in my over 6 mths of being a customer.

How much do you use tho?

I have a problem when a service calling themselves unlimited kicks off customers for using too much.

They are really good with them for 11 months no trouble. If any problem they solved promptly. First have vdsl rock solid speed then my street has UFB apply for UFB and 2 weeks wait and got connected.

Rich

I use about 300gb / mth

I asked about that today and they indicated that I use about 30gb every 3 days.

Having changed from UI to bigpipe I have to say that the forced changed has been great.

Under UI we were having VoIP issues with poor quality calls, phones not ringing calls dropping, on bigpipe it's rock solid.

Used to get complaints about slow or not working internet on UI now on Bigpipe it's rock solid all the time.

Save the heartache and go with bigpipe.

On UI were you using their VoIP or someone else's?  And did you have a public IP?

I would suggest that they are okay if you use less than maybe 500gb a month.

My friend who was with them didn't seem to mind there service but after being kicked off them and moving to bigpipe he prefers them.

Of course 300Gb/month is about 30Gb every 3 days ... or about 10Gb a day ... not sure I understand what you're getting at here?

So they are fine if your usage is very light then.

Aren't they the ones who kicked someone off their "unlimited" plan on very little notice for using a pathetically low amount like 2tb/month or something?

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

They are. I have just done that in about 3 days on my bigpipe connection so I don't think I would last long with them.

I'll bite :)

While I agree that if you call yourself unlimited you should offer unlimited, I had to laugh at 2Tb being small. I would expect you are in the top few % of domestic users if you get up to that.

Maybe it is the norm in Student flats or It serious geeks, but my family of 4 (2 School Kids who spend way to long on the PC, and me & my wife who what 4K Netflix, torrent and game) manage only 500G a month.
I know we are well above average for that.

With the mixed reports it sounds like the OP should give unlimited ago if they can avoid a contract.

Worst case a few days without internet.
Best case an extra few $100 in their pocket.

(Personally never used them so have no opinion other than reading this site)

Have a friend with them, UFB averaging between 1-2TB a month.. he likes them.. hes had no "threats" of being kicked off..

Only experience I've had with them is connecting to his wifi via my phone.. and it was fine

I personally tend to stick with the larger ISP for performance and reliability only.. you'll nearly always get better support from smaller ISPs
