I have fibre now.

There is no copper working now.

Not happy with Sparks no National calling with this plan.

I see Voyager do this with fibre + Landline.

I don't see a listing for Voyager here.  Is Voyager recommended or not?

The other one who seems to also is NOWNZ, although not sure I like the locked router business.

Any recommendations?

I want Fibre 100, 120GB or thereabouts, landline with Caller ID and a bundle national calling plan/.

No cellphone.

Slingshot?  Home phone included in their plans, making them good value.  I've been a customer since switching to UFB about two years ago and apart from some initial problems with their horrible Tripleplay router (no longer supplied), they have been very good

If you need a landline I can't recommend Voyager enough - excellent support, speeds and their router isn't that bad at all.

Note, to use VoIP with their bundled plans you need to use their router. I have it installed at my parents place and just have an AP connected to this serving WiFi and never have to do any support, just chugs along nicely. The other option is to go with a provider like BigPipe and get 2talk VoIP and use any device you like for VoIP (Cisco SPA122 or even BigPipe's router).

Is bigpipes HG659 VOIP area unlocked? The only way i could get 2talk working on a VF HG659 was with a DNS server redirecting the VF address to the 2talk one..

Also when you quote someone or edit your post on geekzone today it removes ALL the body..

@Coil Yeah @freitasm is aware of this and is working on it.

The HG659 on BigPipe is indeed unlocked for all to tinker with and others around here have configured 2talk on it no problems.

Excuse me if i have been under a rock for the last 2 years haha. Even as the "Geekzone ambassador for the hg659" (given i recommend it in most cases haha)
Can you flash BP firmware to the VF one? I recall you could flash the spark firmware to it.

Thanks. It was my inclination already.

That or NOWNZ, but Voyager was the one -  I wanted to see if any negatives really...

The 2 remaining main ones - never. (Slingshot, Vodafone)

Voyager Fibre here, all good so far (couple o' months). Bigpipe looked good too but it's a bit tricky for me to only pay by credit card.
