She said she would like to upgrade us to 200mb Fibre for no extra charge (rather, for an addition $10).
So I go and have a chat to her, I tell her that we aren't experiencing any issues, they she repeats the same stuff that she said above. When I ask her who she works for she says Chorus, I tell her Chorus doesn't sell broadband, she finally admits she works "Trust Power, but it's the same thing", then starts offering me some free stuff on her iPad (it had photos of a fridge and a TV, I didn't bother to look into this).
I tell her we're happy with Spark. I asked for her name as she was leaving, she didn't respond.
This really pissed me off. How can someone claim this kind of crap? "They" installed our connection, that they "tested" our connection, how it was "much slower than VDSL", that our neighbours were complaining, that Trust and Chorus are the same company.
This is downright predatory behaviour. Trust Power should be ashamed of themselves and tactics employed by their sales staff.
This is just a vent, but I figured I'd share this experiences with the rest of you guys.
[Not sure if this is the right forum, but I didn't see one about Trust Power. Please feel free to move it or tell me where to repost.]
