No power can't connect. Starlink support want to send me a zGen3 router and power supply. From what I've read you still need working Gen2 modem put into bypass mode. I have ethernet adapter.

 

So if the Gen2 odem is toast this won't work. Not sure if they have zGen2 available

 

Sucks no internet for weekend and cell mobile data very weak here

Starlink just come back to say replacing everything socks a bit as I gather new dish not as good

The Gen 3 is a bit faster. You do have to manually align it, but this generally does not change. You'll need a different mount for it though (depedning on how you got the Gen 2 orignially installed.)

New Plymouth. It is on the roof on a pole. Looks like zi will need their pole mount adapter
