I'm not sure what to make of the article but apparently because aussie isps are blocking websites it means nz internet users are affected too:

sigh.. the story you quote is completely wrong. The reason why some websites couldn't be reached had nothing to do with censorship at all. I wish journalists would do more than 5 mins research and actually check their facts..

This article was even worse regarding the problem:
things like this happen: http://www.infonews.co.nz/news...

even : http://techliberty.org.nz/tech.../ which quotes the last 2 articles still blames censorship even when it had nothing to do with it...

sigh...
