Hi,

Which isp's can anyone recommend who give a decent data allowance for a good price?

We need at least 15GB, around $45pm, or could include the phone line. The Vodafone ultimate pack looks good value.

Cheers.

As low as 15 GB then they are all suitable.

I've found they can cost more than $50 for 15-20gbs. We'd like a bit more than 15gb as we've gone over our 15gb allowance a few times.

I haven't heard of snap before, thanks for that. The vodafone deal still seems to be good value at $100 for 30gb & phoneline. A friend of my is on vodafone and they lost all services for 3 weeks, vodafone weren't very helpful. Is anyone else with them that could rate them or otherwise?

Note those prices are only if you're on Orcons ULL gear.

I did check out Orcon but the prices on their site and through their email support were a fair bit higher. It would actually cost a little bit more than what we pay now with telecom/slingshot. What is Orcon's ULL gear to get the lower prices?

we're in dunedin so it would cost $101 as we wouldn't commit to 2 years. vodafone still works out better as you get the $15 mysky hdi credit as well as 30gb. it seems that if you live in auckland, wellington or chch you get better deals, not fair!

It's their own DSLAM/backhaul/etc that goes into the unbundled exchanges. Only avaliable in parts of auckland/wellington and chch I think.

About worldnet, all we're allowed to say these days is "don't go with worldnet" or they'll sue us/GZ for libel/slander/defemation.

They don't have it for the whole of NZ because it's not worth their while to put their own equipment in every single exchange/cabinet.
