Hello. This is a survey thread only. No discussions please (take them to another thread...).

All I want is the following...

2Mbps plan users ONLY

Run this speedtest: http://www.nzdsl.co.nz/index.php?module=Speedtest
Then come back here and post the following (within a few mins so I can take the post time/date as data)

Location (suburb+city)
ISP (xtra/ihug/sling etc)
D/L Speed (from the test)
U/L Speed (from the test)

You can post as many speed test results as you like, but please ensure they are as accurate as possible by closing file sharing applications, and any software using the internet. Anytime day or night is good - I want a good cross section.

If you are not an ADSL 2Mbps customer, I dont want your results here...

Mine's the pits again....

Actrix
2Mbps/128.  $55, 21gb/mth (700mb/day)

Auckland, 8pm, May2, Tuesday.

Download Speed: 207 kbps (25.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 113 kbps (14.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Maybe I should get my line checked?  But it should be slightly better past midnight, and it was better before I moved to Actrix, the data caps were just so attractive (comment replies to main mega thread about speed tests)...
