I'm looking at upgrading to VDSL, from the brief look around I've done, it looks like WorldNet might have one of the better deals. Obviously I'll need a new VDSL filter & modem (Fritzbox sounds likely), but other than that it looks pretty straightforward.

Any better deals around right now? Are WorldNet reliable and/or good to deal with?

On the upside, they support the Cisco 186 analogue --> VoIP adapter which is what I have, so they'd presumably be able to supply proper configuration information for it (rather than the cobbled-together, but working, mess I've got right now).

I'm currently running a Draytek Vigor 120 ADSL2+ modem in full bridge mode to a Tomato'd Asus RT-N16 router. Obviously the Draytek will go out the window but the trusty Asus can keep on doing its job.

Historically Worldnet have an extremely bad reputation for customer service, I would avoid them.

Snap have been pretty good with VDSL, they provide Fritzbox's as well. Also got to love all you can eat Google/Youtube and native ipv6.
