Hi

I have had to replace one of my HP T630's that went faulty.

Purchased a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 DM that comes with a Windows 10 Digital License.

I want to install OMV6 on this system, but first want to backup/clone/preserve the Windows 10 system in case I want to revert to it at some future date.

What would you suggest as the best approach  ?

Thanks and Regards

Dynamic: You don’t need to back up the digital license. It’s embedded in the BIOS. You can install Linux on the erased drive, then install Windows 10 again and the Win10 will pick up the license in the BIOS.

AFAIK there is no way to back it up.

Many thanks for that.

Decided, given low cost of SSD drives and as I wanted to install a larger SSD anyway, will just stick the existing SSD (128G) in a drawer if I ever want to revert
