I have killed my ADF on my cheap nasty brother MFC unjamming it.

Anyway, I want something that does duplex, not worried about the printer side of it, just the scanner.

Whats the best deal around? its just for documents which I still have a massive pile of to scan and shread.

how much do you want to pay?

i just got the brother mfc colour laser 9970(?) at $900 has a great duplex scanner that is super fast too - scans both sides at once, and only takes around 8 secs to scan a page

I've got a spare Kodak i260 at work which will do duplex scanning and has multiple feed detection etc. It's a proper scanner but will see if anyone still wants to use it.

A lot less than that.

The other option is to take it to work and do them there, but the work email server has... errr...  size issues

I dont really care about the printing side of it as I have a lifetime supply of cheap colour lasers in the shed (3 or 4 at last count) so its just the scanning. Plus who prints anything these days that is not studying?
