Hi, My computer has just finished a scan using avast free and found a threat on drive D. Tried quarantining it but won't let me. The drive had a game disk in it - Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversary. The disk seems to be infected, is this possible?, seems to be as when I remove the disk and rescan the threat is gone. Also putting in a different game disk comes back as ok after a scan. Is the infected disk now junk? Any thoughts and help appreciated.

Is is a legitimate/original disk OR cracked/warez/off the back of a truck from Thailand?

If original it's probably false positive: You can upload the problem file to https://www.virustotal.com/ and get it checked by a range of virus checkers to double check.

If not original, it's probably cracked to circumvent DRM so it could be a real problem of just a false positive.
