That is a very good price for that card. But have you considered waiting for a similarly priced DirectX 10 card? If you wait a few months there will be a wider range to choose from and you may find that something like Nvidia's 8600 will offer similar performance at the same price point.

To answer your question though, check your motherboard to see which brand/model you have and check out the manufacturer's website (or Google). It's usually printed in big white letters somewhere, like Gigabyte's "GA-K8N" or Asus' "P5N32-SLI". With the code you'll be able to find the complete specification of the motherboard without too much trouble. Or post your code here if you have trouble finding info.

Just as a side note, if you don't have a graphics card already then you may find that there is no slot at all - perhaps your motherboard has onboard graphics only.

If you go to google images and type in AGP slot and PCI-e slot then you will be able to see what graphics card slot you have.
