I have an iMac that has 4 USB3.0 ports (situated, annoyingly, behind the monitor where they are very hard to get at!) and I need more.

A desktop hub is the answer I assume and it will also give me some easy access ports for things that are plugged in and unplugged frequently.

However, there is a multitude of varieties and I can find no clear direction on what the differences are, and few of them - if any - are by recognisable brands.

Ideally I want 4-7 ports, all full speed USB with charging ability etc.

Any recommendations?
