We have here an Epson W-2530 all in one printer scanner, for scanning I use paint.net, but when going to scan in paint.net I only get two options for resolution - 100 and 300DPI.  Using the Epson software which is useless to me, I can scan up to 4800DPI.  I really need to be able to scan at 600DPI minimum in paint.net. Does anyone know why I am only given 100 and 300, and how do I change it? Thanks

Not a "Solution" as such but could you not scan in the Epson app then import into paint.net?

Yeah I could, but that is double handling to me, when I should be able to do it in paint.net in one go.
