I have a Silencio 452 which when I used it gave me horrible over heating issues unless I had the front panel open (defeats the design purpose if you ask me) so I got a new case etc.

I'm building a PC for my BF and I want to use that silencio case . it has 2 intake and 1 out.

Is their a better configuration for me to optimize heat escape? All of them in or all of them out?

Thanks in advance!

You're pretty much limited to a 2 in 1 out system with that case, it doesn't have any flexibility. You could look at putting higher flowing fans in at the cost of some noise.

The fans that come with cases are often rubbish. Noctuna and Antec Tricool are both excellent fans, quite and high volume.

I'd only expect overheating if you do a lot of gaming. I'd check your heatsink and thermal join.

What were you running in the case that gave you overheating issues?

Typically for fan flow in a case the fronts are intakes and the rear is exhaust. Have you tried running the case without the dust filter?

It might be worth looking at some decent fans, or a fan controller.
